Moore / PR PhotosThe Danish supermodel is so conscious of the effect her electricity use has on the planet that she does everything she can to reduce her carbon footprint. She said: "I have never had any proper lighting in my houses. I do have a few low-energy bulbs in my homes, but I try to use as little electricity as possible."Helena insists she prefers to use alternative methods to light her properties, adding: "I have a lot of candles. I like the cosiness of them."Helena, 39, also said she has learned to apply her make-up and get ready in near darkness.She added: "After 20 years of modelling, I can do my make-up in utter darkness. And I grew up in a country where there is no light for half the year."But I always have a small mirror with me, so I can check myself when I get outside."
