French president Nicolas Sarkozy scammed

French president Nicolas Sarkozy's bank account was tapped into during an internet scam, as high-tech criminals transferred the "Francs" right out of Sarkozy's bank account after hacking his user name and password.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy (L) has been scammed out of some francs in his personal bank account, sacre bleu EPA/LUCAS DOLEGASarkozy allegedly complained to police in September after money began disappearing from his personal account. The Telegraph (UK) reports that the Police said the small withdrawals were hallmark tactics of these criminals to keep their victims unaware.The Telegraph claims, "Parisian thieves obtained confidential numbers and passwords so as to withdrawn regular slices of Mr Sarkozy's annual salary of £195,000 a year."Sarkozy has been front and center in the global financial crisis meetings as his country holds the revolving presidency of the European Union."We can confirm that an investigation is underway into amounts of cash stolen from the President's bank account," a financial prosecutor said, according to the Telegraph.
