DJ AM's 'fireball' escape

03/22/2008 - DJ AM - Perez Hilton's Quinceanera Part 2 - Beverly Wilshire Hotel - Beverly Hills, CA © Tina Gill / PR PhotosIn his first interview since the tragic event - which killed four people and severely injured former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker - the musician recalled how he managed to break free of the wreckage following the crash last month.The DJ, real name Adam Goldstein, said: "After Travis opened the emergency door, there was fire everywhere. I tried to cover my face as I jumped through a fireball. As soon as I hit the ground, I remembered, 'Stop, drop and roll.' So I started rolling."The 35-year-old star - who has undergone several medical procedures to treat the severe burns all over his body - also expressed his amazement at surviving the crash.He said: "My emotions go back and forth. I can't believe I made it. I'm just grateful."
