Rachel Weisz's Mummy snub

Rachel Weisz didn't even read the script for 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor'.The 38-year-old actress - who appeared as Evelyn Carnahan in the first two films in the franchise - had no intention of even considering starring in the last part in the trilogy.Rachel, who has a two-year-old son Henry Chance with husband Darren Aronofsky, said: "In fact, I never even read the script because it was going to be, I think, five months in China, and it was just out of the question that I could do it straight after shooting my new film 'The Brothers Bloom'."Rachel also said she is very keen on portraying strong female characters in movies.She added to America's Vogue magazine: "I'm definitely interested in characters who believe in something so strongly they're ready to put their lives on the line in some way - people who are braver, bolder, more complex than me."
