Being from Alaska it doesn't surprise me about the amount of ignorance coming from people when it comes to the facts about my home state. Everytime I travel outside I get the usual 'are there polar bears?' 'Do you live in igloos?'. I think a lot of what scares people about Palin is that they know nothing about the state she comes from. They assume there is nothing for her to run up here. Well there is and I'm tired of hearing the stupid stereotypes. Black people? Really? That's a new one for me. Yes, and there are actually Polynesians too. Diddy has probably not a clue who they are. We are diverse up here and that's why I love it. It's a great place to live and I encourage those curious to come visit. Although I think Diddy might want to stay down there in his mansion. With all of his insults about us he might be proved wrong about the 'crime' if he does visit.
