Will Ferrell wants to make pornographic sequel to 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy'.
The 'Step Brothers' star has confirmed there will be a sequel to the cult 2004 film, but says he is also interested in making a full trilogy - with a unique twist.
Will said: "We're going to do the third 'Anchorman' as porn and it's going to be the climax to the trilogy. No-one's going to be weinerrman but me."
In the first film, Will plays the role of US newsreader Ron Burgundy, who leads an oddball news team at a San Diego channel.
Will added: "The director, Adam McKay, started the sequel story, so I guess we are making one. We don't have a script yet, but Steve Carell and the rest of the cast have been approached and have said they'd do it in a second."
Actor Paul Rudd, who co-starred in the first film, has previously said any sequel would have to "be really weird" and hinted the team could go into outer space.
Will is currently starring in 'Step Brothers' alongside John C. Reilly, which is released in cinemas later this month.
