Coldplay have revealed they love to make their own clothes.
Frontman Chris Martin has told how the band like to sew and modify their own clothes together. The 'Viva la Vida' singer, 31, says the band's needlework habits help them bond together.
Chris said: "Making clothes together in our studio makes us feel complete. We probably sound like a group of grannies in a knitting circle but it's the truth and it gives us some control over our visual identity."
"When you are a big band and everyone is taking shots at you, the more things you can do together the better. And if you're wearing uniforms made by your own hands it helps achieve that."
Chris said sewing helps the clean-living band to pass time when they're on tour and staying in hotels, adding: "We see if they have a sewing kit in the amenities draw in case we feel inspired."
Coldplay are currently on a world tour to promote their 'Viva la Vida' album.
