If Senator Obama saw his half-brother in 2006, does that still make him his 'long lost brother'?

Just curious.

Hope this doesnt get out. Only 7 hits when you google it. Drudge of course has it but the rest of the mainstream media has it contained pretty well so far.

I don't think showing Obama's brother living in a Kenyan hut is quite the image middle America is looking for right now. As for his religous affilitation, I shudder to think

I'm getting extremely worried with these polls turning likehtis. Is it possible that we can still choose Hillary?

Obama is the answer?Aug 20th, 2008 - 20:06:31

The real story is that Obama met with his brother 2 years ago. Obama can't bring his own brother out of poverty yet so many in the US are waiting for him to bring them out of poverty.

Hope this doesnt get out?? To late, it is out. It was on Drudge, Rush Limbaugh, (just 15 million people heard it there) plus its all over the Net) Shawn Hannity, Fox News, etc. No Barack Hussein Obama can't hide this. This is really spectacular after Obama's statement in the Saddleback debates with McCain that his Christian duty' is to take care of the 'least of his brothers'. Thats rich. This dude in Kenya is at the bottom of the food chain. But then Edwards says there are 'two Americas and Obama's little brother doesn't live in America does he?

May be YOU are the one who needs to read.

From the article

George Obama said: 'It was very brief, we spoke for just a few minutes. It was like meeting a complete stranger.'

This was the 2006 meeting. That doesn't make him so long lost, does it?

If Obama does not feel the need to give him anything he shouldnt,
he is not entitle to give anything to him, maybe he does not think of
him as a brother, even if he is. I have the same situation,
I have a half brother in central america from my dad's side i met
him twice also, but i really dont consider him my brother and i dont
feel entitle to help him or give him anything, that does not mean that i wish him bad, on the contrary i wish him all the luck in the world. I thing obama's dad should had taken better care of his kids,
after all he was or is the father and is his responsability
ohh and just to clarify im not voting for obama, but in this case
i understand his situation. Is not his fault that his father was
irresponsible for giving that man the life he has. I still feel sorry
for him but as i said if obama does not feel like to help him or whatever
then he shoulnt.

Barak Obama Sr had the other son with Jael.

read this section of bible, Judges chapter 4 verse 14...
In the same verse, it mentions Barak and Jael.

14 Then Deborah said to Barak, 'Go! This is the day the LORD has given Sisera into your hands. Has not the LORD gone ahead of you?' So Barak went down Mount Tabor, followed by ten thousand men. 15 At Barak's advance, the LORD routed Sisera and all his chariots and army by the sword, and Sisera abandoned his chariot and fled on foot. 16 But Barak pursued the chariots and army as far as Harosheth Haggoyim. All the troops of Sisera fell by the sword; not a man was left.

17 Sisera, however, fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, because there were friendly relations between Jabin king of Hazor and the clan of Heber the Kenite.

18 Jael went out to meet Sisera and said to him, 'Come, my Lord , come right in. Don't be afraid.' So he entered her tent, and she put a covering over him.

19 'I'm thirsty,' he said. 'Please give me some water.' She opened a skin of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him up.

20 'Stand in the doorway of the tent,' he told her. 'If someone comes by and asks you, 'Is anyone here?' say 'No.' '

21 But Jael, Heber's wife, picked up a tent peg and a hammer and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep, exhausted. She drove the peg through his temple into the ground, and he died.

22 Barak came by in pursuit of Sisera, and Jael went out to meet him. 'Come,' she said, 'I will show you the man you're looking for.' So he went in with her, and there lay Sisera with the tent peg through his temple-dead.

23 On that day God subdued Jabin, the Canaanite king, before the Israelites. 24 And the hand of the Israelites grew stronger and stronger against Jabin, the Canaanite king, until they destroyed him.

I a mixed race male and is what you call a dyed in the wool Democrat of the sort which would never think about voting Republican. That said I find it to be despicable that someone of means could have a brother who is living in abject poverty and not help. I didn't vote for Obama in the primaries because (1) I heard how Hillary helped her father with an medical insurance mess he experienced (2) I felt that he is all about him self and an opportunist who would sell his own mother to get elected. For the first time in my life I will vote for a Republican unless something as despicable comes out about McCain.

WHAT???????????????????
More reasons to hold evangelicals with contempt, use your brains for god sake. The Bible, Koran and Torah are all works of MAN, and as such are fancified stories to keep dullards in line with fear.

It is about time, or truly past the time, when people in our country should be taking off their blinders. Why do we vote? To better our circumstances, to maintain safety, to leave this land a better place for our next generations!!!! Our reasons for selecting a candidate should not be because he/she is the first 'woman', first 'black-male', 'charismatic', first 'hebrew', etc. We should focus on who is the best person for the job. When we have issues which challenge our better judgement, we should listen to those voices in our heads and hearts. Our instincts usually do not deceive us, as candidates often do. There are frighteningly contraversial issues, always in the background about Mr. Obama. We all need to pay attention before the damage is done; before we offend both God and Country. I am calling on all who read this, to think, to research, to talk to your family and friends, and then, vote with a clear sense of right-doing.

What was that part in Obama's speech last night, telling us to be 'our Brothers keeper'.

I think Obama is a nice guy but lets be honest, he is a fraud.

Anyone who talks as much as he does about helping others would have a
record of doing so, can anyone name one time he has put his hand in his own pocket and done something substantial?
