The Jonas Brothers reveal they are just a bunch of Jersey boys who are misunderstood by the media.
Their New Jersey Homecoming was met with throngs of screaming fans.
It was a homecoming like no other as The Jonas Brothers returned during a leg of their “Burn’in Up” tour and the trio let loose to Extra about tabloid rumors, crazy fan antics and why their new album means something extra special to Nick.
Nick, Joe and Kevin were "psyched" to put on a great show for their Garden State fans.
Joe said, “It’s a great feeling coming back to play in our home state. The fans are always the loudest here.”
The brothers try their best to laugh off "false" tabloid reports.
Nick jokes, “We heard that Kevin got married. Those [rumors] were pretty great.” Joe adds, “We’ve heard ones that we have superpowers. Unfortunately we don’t.”
Being the objects of affection for tween and teen girls all over the world, The Jonas Brothers have encountered many dedicated and determined fans. Recently, one eager gal scaled the roof of their California home trying to catch a glimpse of the pop sensations!
Joe explains, “We weren’t home. If we were home, we probably wouldn’t let it happen. It was funny….Our fans can do funny things sometimes but we love them.”
When asked who they hope to meet face-to-face at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards on September 7th, Joe admits, “We think Chris Brown is great. We’ve seen him a bunch of times…To be able to see him again and hopefully see him perform will be really cool.”
The Jonas Brothers’ released their second album last week and it’s already reached the top of the charts.
Nick reveals to “Extra” why the record has special meaning to him explaining, “The title track on the new record is called A Little Bit Longer and it’s a song I wrote about my diabetes…It’s really close to my heart, the song, and I play it live every night to tell my story and just basically try to give people some hope.”
“Extra’s” Jonas Brothers interview airs tonight.
