Los Angeles/London - Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell are donating their salaries from the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, to Matilda Ledger, the daughter of the late actor Heath Ledger, according to news reports Tuesday.
Ledger had started filming the fantasy movie when he died from an accidental prescription drug overdose in January. The three stars stepped in to fill Ledger's role when filming resumed in March.
They decided to donate their fees to his daughter after discovering that she was left out of his will.
'They didn't take money - it goes to Heath's daughter,' director Terry Gilliam told Britain's The Sun newspaper.
'That's extraordinary! And wonderful ... and when you're part of that, you think, 'Ah, this is maybe why I went into the movies in the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people'.'
Gilliam said: 'We've got a movie full of wonderful people who did extraordinary things to help.'

God bless Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell.
Heath is smiling right now, because Matilda is officially taken care of.
(That is definitely NOT to say that Heath's family wouldn't take care of Matilda, nor is it to say that Michelle would not look after her own daughter. It's just a safety net, Matilda will never want for anything EVER, which is what I'm sure Heath wanted for her.)
