Michael Jackson hasn't spoken to his brothers for three years after a row about money.
The Jacksons - Michael, Jermaine, Tito, Marlon, Randy and Jackie - were set to appear on stage together next month to receive an Icon Award at the BMI Urban Awards but this now looks unlikely as it has been revealed that 'Thriller' singer Michael hasn't had any contact with his siblings since he was acquitted of child molestation charges three years ago.
It has also been claimed Michael still owes them around $840,000 in royalties, according to the New York Post newspaper.
The Icon Award is given to artists and songwriters whose music contributions have had "a unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers."
Earlier this month, a BMI spokeswoman said all the Jackson brothers except Michael had confirmed they will attend the ceremony at Beverly Hills' Wilshire Theatre.
Last year, Jermaine revealed the brothers had been discussing a reunion, saying: "It could be sometime in 2008. Michael will be involved. We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public.
"Michael has to be involved. He is a Jackson."

Michael doesn't even own the J5 catalog so why would he owe them royalties? And another thing, Michael called during the J5 event held in Devon to celebrate the Jackson's being there and he talked with the audience and with his brothers via telephone so the idea that he hasn't spoken to his brothers is completely unfounded. And EVEN if he wasn't talking to them; BIG DEAL!! People cut off family members everyday. He's a grown adult man, almost 50 for christ's sake, so let him live his life! This is just some more media crap that the writers don't even bother to do background checks on and its really starting to show.

I heard the the Jackson 5 dont want Michael to join them at the awards cause of the money he owes them...
I think they are being very childish...but watever...
AS for michael I hope he comes to the award..dont let anything stop u from making your comeback Michael..
