Anne Hathaway can spot people who are only interested in her fame.
The 'Get Smart' actress - who recently split from her boyfriend of four years, Raffaello Follieri - is reluctant to trust people who are attracted to her celebrity status.
Anne, 25, said: "I have a finely tuned bulls**t detector and I'm not the sort of person who trusts very easily. It's possible that, one day, someone could prove to have been good at getting into my life. But it's not specifically an actor thing - anyone in the public eye has that. And I'm lucky I live such a privileged life."
Anne has recently gone through a rough period.
Shortly after her split from Italian businessman Follieri, he was arrested for eleven counts of fraud including money laundering.
At the time her publicist released a statement saying: "She has changed her numbers so he can't reach her. He has been trying to call her all the time."
Anne has since distanced herself from Follieri and her publicists have issued a statement saying she is unlikely to ever discuss her relationship with him.
