I wish to thank the press for enabling me to finally see the light. Now, I instinctively blame President Bush for everything.

When the Sun explodes or Martians attack, instead of using my head to examine the situation and come to a rational conclusion, I shall automatically blame the president. Of course, if it can be proved beyond doubt the president had no role in anything I may blame him for, such as a fly landing in my Koolaid and the president has video of him sound asleep at the time of the disaster, I shall automatically switch my blame to Senator McCain. I may have to blame both of them just to be safe. After all, not being a liberal reporter, it is clear I am not very smart.

But thanks to the extremely knowledgeable soothsaying prophets of the elitist press, who spend far more time talking than they do listening and often start their headlines with words such as 'How this...' or 'Why that...' (indicating they have yet more flawless wisdom to bestow on us ultra-ignorant folks), I know that from now on either Bush or McCain is to blame for everything.

(Gosh, how could I have been so stupid. The New York Times, Newsweek, AP and the rest possess such extraordinarily superior intellect that I never need to think for myself again, especially now that I finally understand that Bush, McCain, or the both of them are to blame for everything. This also must explain why liberal blogs contain a shocking twelve times(!!!) as much profanity as do conservative blogs. Profanity must be a sign of truly vast intellectual power. This also explains why I had turn away from the blogs at the Huffington Post a few days ago. They were using so many gigantic four-letter words I simply couldn’t comprehend anything. I am so ashamed of myself. Thanks, liberal brainiacs. Thanks for using words I can understand just well enough that I finally 'woke up.' I am deeply sorry it took so long.)

You have arrived at an auspicous conclusion:

Liberalism is a religion.

Yes Dan, these folks, who threw off the old religions during the Flower Child Reformation, now have created their own, as Michael Creighton has correctly contended.

Liberalism offers a ready-made solution for the Yuppie Dildo Convert:

Church Heirarchy: Acadamia is the ready-made solution, with Theologians in the form of tenured professors, endlessly spewing the dogma of the new church, unchalenged by their lazy, doctinaire fellow collegues. To do so would be Apostasy, unforgivable and then you'd be excommunicated.

Tent Evangelists - the Al Gore, Mike Moore, Geo Soros, crowd spewing death and destruction, complete with Jets leaving the Holy Carbon Footprints the size of New Jersey, like a church granting indulgences, while they preach the chastity of riding bicycles to the poor masses.

The Jesuits - The NEA and their band of facists, roaming the land, enslaving the populace with their educational monopolies, entrenching a systme that fails American children more each year, while swinging their Trial Lawyer sword at those apsotates, the Martin Luthers, who want Vouchers .

The Clergy - the John Edwards and Jimmy Carters, John Murthas and Nancy Pelosi's, acting like the Di Medici's in their vestments, their endless duplicities, while the rank and file diddle their flock with disingenuous actions like Sen. John Edwards and then apologize for it. At the Top, the truely holy Bill Clinton, preaching redemption while fattening his pockets with alms from the third world, all washed clean with a blessing from his own foundation.

The Inquisitors: the Libnazi drive-by media, with their descension upon anything unholy, or a threat to their true God. and their head-hunting Congress, saving their own asses from destruction by flushing the Attorney General who had them sh-tting their pants over his trying and convicting their fellow clergymen for being nothing more than who they really are.

And, finally, the christ-child, the virgin-figure and the Messiah, all in one, Barak Obama, conceived of a virginized party, who washed away the original sin of Jim Crow, with it's sack cloth and ashes for the last 40 years. Like the Israelites, they worship the Golden Calf having thrown the tablets of Kennedy liberalism to the ground, and now wander aimlessly in the desert, going in circles, searching for the land of milk and honey.

Yes Dan, you are an infidel. You threaten them like the Martin Luther of their time, the one named Rush, an upstart who dares to challenge them, or the Apsotate O'Reilly, who denuded their learned theologians in the Duke Rape case, or the others they fear so much, that they seek to silence these infidels with The Fairness Doctrine, or threats of divisiveness, or attacks from the Inquisitors of the New York Times or the LA Times, who's readers are leaving in droves after the years of droll dogma.

Go now son, go to your Crusade. Their Jihad is going to be visited upon you, just as soon as they come out of the desert.

That is a weird but chillingly true theory. I read Creighton's book and it was enlightening. I never really thought about it until I read the SP post above. Damn.
