Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie should not have children, according to Russell Brand.

The British comedian believes the Hollywood couple - who welcomed twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon into the world last month - are too good looking to "breed" and should stick to adopting.

Russell said: "The thing is that they're both so stupidly beautiful and good-looking and attractive that their children are born looking gorgeous! It's unsettling."

The 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' star - who will be presenting this year's MTV Video Music Awards on September 7 - believes the couple could spark the apocalypse if they continue to have babies.

He said: "I think their adoption policy is probably better because when their genes come together, it creates a storm of attractiveness so potent that it could one day bring down the planet.

"I don't think they should breed, those two people. No one needs a baby with eight-inch long eyelashes.

"That first one they had, she had sort of a Marilyn Monroe mouth."

As well as the twins, the couple also have biological daughter Shiloh, two, adopted sons Maddox, seven, and Pax, four, and adopted daughter Zahara, three.
