Sienna Miller would "never" have got involved with Balthazar Getty if he was still happily married.

The 'Edge of Love' actress - who was first romantically linked to father-of-four Balthazar earlier this year - has unfairly been branded a home wrecker, according to friends of the couple.

One pal said: "Sienna and Balthazar met through friends and he was already separated from his wife. When he released a statement in July saying he had split from his wife Rosetta, he had been sleeping on friends' couches for six months."

Despite reports Balthazar was "desperately" trying to convince Rosetta to take him back, friends insist Sienna and the 'Brothers and Sisters' actor are incredibly happy together.

The friend added to the New York Post newspaper: "Please. Sienna and he are in love. They're living together in Los Angeles. Everyone knows about her and accepts her.

"It's just annoying that all this misinformation is out there. He should have announced his separation a lot earlier than he did - she was always told he was separated. There's no way she would ever get involved with another married man after Jude Law."

You should be considered a home wrecker if you don't stay away 'till the divorce is final. There is always a chance of a reconciliation before then.

such dark ages nonsense!Aug 8th, 2008 - 22:58:31

the 'homewrecker' is the one who does wrong in the marriage. the 'homewrecker' is the one who causes the marriage to fall apart. now, which one was it in this case? the husband or the wife? which one of them caused them to become separated? that individual is the 'homewrecker'. sienna is within her rights to see this man if she so chooses, she's taking a chance that he might reconcile with wifey, yes. but it's her choice, and there's nothing wrong with it. a lifemate is a lifemate, and some silly little piece of paper signed by the state (originally started by the church by the way) means nothing. the heart means everything. i watched my current wife of 15 years go through the crap you're putting sienna through right now when i got separated and stared dating her. back then the taboo and hatred was even worse. my wife cheated on me, i left, i replaced her with a better woman. the divorce wasn't finalized yet, but who cares, my girlfriend stuck with me and now we're married. the monsters in our small town tried calling her names, tried blaming her for what had happened, and the whole time they never once mentioned how my now ex-wife was a cheating whore who ruined her marriage. it was the 'other woman' and 'homewrecker' (now my wife) who caused it. poppycock!!! crawl out of the dark ages people, love is love, and we should learn to follow it. not some ancient hatred taught by the hebrew sky god and the scorned women who worship him.
