Scarlett clarifies her Obama relationship

Scarlett Johansson denies she and Presidential candidate Barack Obama are pen pals.
Johansson comments on the reports claiming she had an email relationship with presidential hopeful Barack Obama. She tells Extra, “I never said we were pen pals. I was mearly trying to communicate how excited I was that Obama has such a hands on approach with his supporters…which was unfortunately exploited in a silly media frenzy.”
As for whether Johansson thinks the media was trying to start or imply a romance rumor between her and Obama, she responds, “Well, you know, I'm spoken for, so I think it has nothing to do with that at all and never did.
Whatever. I'm a huge supporter.”
