Uma Thurman is scared of getting old.
The 38-year-old 'Kill Bill' star has confessed that although the ageing process doesn't frighten her as much as it used to, she is still worried about reaching her mid 50s.
She said: "You know, I was scared of being 25, then of being 35 and at present I'm afraid of being 55. Time doesn't frighten me as much as it used to a few years ago."
However, Uma insists she has become philosophical about growing older and is determined to make the most of each year.
She added: "In reality, I think I've received some inner wisdom. Now I can take things the way they come with more confidence and faith.
"There is so much to learn from life at each age! Doing what you want to do and living according to your beliefs makes you feel beautiful. And when a woman feels beautiful, she is beautiful, no matter what her age is."
