Sienna Miller faces a battle to keep new lover Balthazar Getty.

The actor's wife Rosetta has reportedly decided she wants to save her marriage after Balthazar bombarded her with emails begging for forgiveness.

The 38-year-old mother of four is said to have told friends she is willing to forgive her husband's alleged affair with the 'Factory Girl' star.

A source said: "Rest assured she won't make any rash decisions regards their marriage. Balthazar is incredibly confused at the moment - torn in fact.

"As time goes by he realises how deep his love for Rosetta and the children is. Rosetta thinks the bond she has with him and their kids is stronger than anything Sienna can offer.

"Despite reports to the contrary, the door is still open for a reconciliation."

Rosetta was reportedly "devastated" after pictures were released of Balthazar, 33, and 26-year-old Sienna canoodling on holiday in Italy.

Shortly afterward, he issued a statement saying his marriage was over, while Rosetta has refused to speak publicly.

The source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Rosetta is maintaining a dignified silence with regards to this whole affair. She has their children to think about."

Balthazar - who is said to have sent his estranged wife emails saying "I love you" since news of his affair broke - and Rosetta have four children, Cassius, eight, seven-year-old Grace, four-year-old Violet and June, 10 months.
