Fox news reports that Bello was in her seat, and after take-off, the entire plane was alarmed by piercing screams coming from a woman who was suffering from a paranoid schizophrenic attack in the front section of the plane.
"The flight attendants didn't know what to do. But weirdly enough I did because I've had a lot of mental illness around me in my life," Bello told Fox news Pop Tarts. "It was really scary. They thought they were going to have to make an emergency landing.”
Bello sat with the passenger and calmed her down. She never left the woman's side until the flight had landed.
"It made me feel really happy that I'd had these experiences with other people and knew what to do," she said.
