David Duchovny claims to have seen an alien.
The actor - who reprises his role as FBI agent Fox Mulder in 'The X-Files: I Want To Believe' next month - had the paranormal encounter several years ago, but admits it could have been a case of overtiredness.
He said: "I believe I saw a UFO once, a long time ago, about 1982, but I don't know what it was.
"I saw something in the sky that disappeared. I was having a hard time then, you know, life. There was something in the air and it was gone and I thought, 'You've got to get some rest David.' "
His co-star, Gillian Anderson, also claims to have had encounters with the supernatural.
The actress - who plays Mulder's partner Dana Scully in the movie - said: "I've stayed in houses before that I've been pretty certain have been haunted in one way or another, but no real experience, just eerie feelings."
