Roger Clemens' once long-time girlfriend Mindy McCready has suffered a nervous breakdown according to the New York Daily News sports reporter, Christian Red.

Red reports she entered rehab on Tuesday night.
The tipping point for McCready was the relentless FBI investigation into Roger Clemens that involved questioning the singer, along with a probation violation for falsifying community service records (from a 2004 prescription fraud charge), and the custody battle for her 2-year-old son while she tried desperately to restart her career.
Red claims that McCready "was admitted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center emergency room on July 16 with what a family member said was a breakdown."
Her publicists confirmed that McCready entered a treatment center last night, but would not disclose the location. The Daily News claims she is in California per their unidentified sources.
"Other issues made it prudent for her to seek longer term and broader based treatment. To her credit, she has entered into an extended care facility where she will receive the care needed and for the moment we ask that the media respect her privacy," McCready's representative at Susan Blond Inc. said in a statement.
