Los Angeles - Britney Spears has reached a settlement with her ex-husband Kevin Federline over custody arrangements for their two young sons, People magazine reported Friday.
According to the agreement, which still needs to be signed off on by the court, Federline retains sole custody of the children - Preston, 2, and Jayden, 18 months - while Spears keeps her visitation rights, currently two visits and one overnight per week.
'The case has been settled,' Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan told People. 'This is the end of a two-year journey.'
The legal saga began with the parents sharing custody, but as Spears displayed increasingly erratic behaviour, Federline was awarded control of the children. The parties are expected in court Friday to ratify the deal.
