Despite Carlin's years of material hammering the inefficiencies and bureaucracies of government, Wade noted that George made quite a memorable impression of a number of politicians.

According to Wade, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the Country of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors adjourned in tribute and reverence their regular meetings out of respect to the passing of George Carlin.More impressive and a little surprising to Ms. Wade was the fact that she was presented with the Flag that flew over Congress on June 23rd.

Paying tribute to Carlin, how freakin' absurd! The guy was an anti-American piece of hippie garbage, who benefited from everything consumeristic that he whined about on stage (to the price of at least $50 per show...imagine that?!), and also apparently had no issue selling his 'routines' on CD at Wal-Mart.
