The videos became huge internet hits. Representatives for the couple confirmed the split but added no further comment. Kimmel, 40, is the host of the network talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, while Silverman hosts Comedy central's The Sarah Silverman Program. They were named The Funniest Couple Alive in March, when they conducted a lengthy romantic interview with People. Silverman, said their relationship worked 'because we really, really, really like each other. He's kind and funny and maybe the most thoughtful person I know.' 'Sarah is funny and smart and good to look at,' said Kimmel. 'Plus, she likes fat guys. What more could I ask?'
