Pete Wentz is turning into his father.
The Fall Out Boy rocker - who is expecting his first child with wife Ashlee Simpson - admits the impending arrival has caused him to adopt the habits of his dad, also named Pete.
He said: "I'm becoming my dad, actually! I get up at 7am to drive to work down Sunset Boulevard with traffic that I complain about. And then I come home, and I have a pregnant wife and two puppies!"
Pete also revealed he is finding every stage of Ashlee's pregnancy "crazy".
He added to US radio presenter Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show: "It's really, really, really, really exciting. When I'm in the doctor's office, I freak out - it's this crazy thing, this thing you made. It's like making a record, but knowing you're going to mix it for the next 18 years of your life!"
When asked if he knew the gender of his baby, Pete replied: "We are hoping the doctor will be able to see something in the next couple of weeks."
