Uma Thurman says life is "wonderful".
The 38-year-old actress - who is divorced from actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke - says she is happier now than she has been in a long time thanks to her engagement to Swiss businessman Arpad Busson.
She said: "Personally, things are wonderful. I'm going to have to retract my statement that I will never marry again! I'll have to eat my words - what a surprise!"
Uma also revealed she has suffered some drawbacks in her life, but added she thinks it adds to the "unpredictability" of life.
She added: "You can be singing along, thinking everything is fine, then the train clouds and the lightning can just sweep in and you can find yourself devastated. Depressed. You can make bad decisions. It can screw everything.
"But I've lived through it all - and God damn it if I haven't learnt!"
Uma has two children - nine-year-old Maya Ray and six-year-old Levon Roan - with Ethan.
