You gotta admit that a half million dollar dress is overkill by anyone's standards. Unless it has real jewels in place of fake pearls and rhinestones that is.
if you aren't forking out money toward paying for any of it, why should you care?
I think this is a huge waste of money. What are they trying to prove?!?! Why don't they take that money and donate it to those who are less fortunate. They'll probably be divorced in less than a year and they won't have anything to show for it.

I guess if they have the funds, it's their business how they spend it.
Someone who only spends $1000 on a wedding is going to criticize someone who spends $5000 on one and on and on. Whatever you can afford and want to spend - go for it!
