Janet Jackson is set to launch her own line of lingerie.

The 'Nasty' singer - whose partner Jermaine Jackson revealed this week they will try for a baby once Janet completes her tour - announced she is planning the range, but refused to give specific details about the line.

Janet would only say, "I'm working on it!" when questioned about the nature of the collection.

The 42-year-old singer's fashion choices have caused controversy over the years - most notably when her breast popped out during a performance with Justin Timberlake at the Super Bowl in 2004.

Janet is not the only celebrity to try their luck in the clothing industry.

Former Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham has her dVb Style fashion line, while stars including Kristin Davis and Sarah Jessica Parker have also released ranges.

Janet is keeping herself busy with business ventures, and recently revealed she will mentor a group of aspiring singers and dancers in an as-yet-untitled MTV reality show.

A producer for the show said: "It's really about finding who's the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher. We'll go to YMCAs, church groups, local community centers and try to cast the show."
