Nicole Scherzinger thinks a man with a sense of humour is "the hottest thing".
The Pussycat Dolls singer revealed guys are often too intimidated to approach her because she is famous, but all she really wants is someone to make her giggle.
She said: "I like to laugh and I like people who make me laugh. A sense of humour is the hottest thing. Men always imagine I'm going to be highbrow and really stuck-up and not have a sense of humour or a personality.
"But that's the opposite of me. I'm really the goofiest, most personable, down-to-earth chick you've ever met."
Nicole - who has been romantically linked to Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton - also admits she is only interested in dating confident men.
She said: "It's the guys who are confident when they walk up, and who aren't afraid, who have got a chance with me. Otherwise they are doomed to failure."
