the whole thing is completely manufactured for attention and acted : why ? because of Brad and AJ's pregnancy. The same thing happened last year. It is obvious, that for whatever reason, maybe she is just still angry about her huge public divorce, but she is not dating John Mayer. He does ANYTHING for attention : write false notes on pharmacy bottles, kiss Perez Hilton, dress as Borat.... he will do or say ANYTHING for attention because he is a boring dull egotist who like the cash. So that is why he agreed. She just needs a cover. a 'sex symbol' as a mask, so she can live her life quite comfortably away from the anxiety relationship have brought her in the past years.
