Mario Lopez is luxuriating in his new-found singleton status.

The "Dancing with the Stars" and host of "America's Best Dance Crew" was backstage with Extra after his debut on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
Lopez commented about his recent breakup with former DWTS partner, Karina Smirnoff saying, “With everything that I have going on in my life now, I’m so focused on my work. I’m not even thinking about any sort of romantic relationship. I don’t think I’d make a good boyfriend at the moment. But I’m working hard, so I’ll be able to provide when I do.”
When asked how he felt about his appearance on Late Night, “Extra’s” Weekend co-host responded, “It felt great to be in an interview chair today with Conan…He’s a great guy. It’s like you’re in a frat house.”
West Coast native Lopez also told “Extra” that he’s enjoying his time in the Big Apple. He exclaimed, “I love New York [but] I’m a total Southern California guy. But the city with the energy, the fast pace. And the food is fantastic.”
