Madonna and Guy heading for divorce?

Reports from Britain claim that Madonna is lawyering up with very powerful barristers and is planning on severing ties to her husband, filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
Website Holy Moly broke the news that Madonna has hired the big gun, Nicholas Mostyn QC, to commence divorce proceedings against her husband of eight years, Guy Ritchie.
Mostyn was the lawyer who worked with Heather Mills, among other high profile Brit split ups.
There is no confirmation from any party involved thus far.
Holy Moly claims there have been many rumors of a rift and say their sources have confirmed that the two are "growing apart."
The couple have had spells of separation with both Madonna's new album and tour and Guy's movie career.
The couple have three children: Adopted Malawian David Banda, their natural son Rocco, and Lourdes, Madonna's daughter from a relationship with her fitness instructor Carlos Leon.

How is it NOT front-page worthy that a sitting president of the United States had 35 articles of impeachment brought against him yesterday?
How is it NOT newsworthy that phase II of the Senate Intelligence Report regarding the runup to the Iraqi occupation was released yesterday, finding that the Bush administration actually DID exaggerate and manipulate intelligence information to garner support for the occupation??
But hold the phone, Madonna's getting another divorce.

why did he marry her in the first place. she is old enough to be his mother and not pretty at all.
