Sometimes I wonder why, people lash out so much, other celebs have gotten pregnant and or had their babies without getting married. Others have opted for the shotgun wedding, others have had their partners their to support them. But because Bridget did not have this - society look at this situation as her fault. We live in a scoiety today where rarely do you find people waiting to get married then, have intimacy.

So what will happen when Ms Bundchen finds herself with child & dumped- I suppose she could be excused beacuse she makes 35 mil a year, a supermodel and was in-love with her EX - and that everybody is how the rich and the famous can get away with anything. Ms Bundchen will never be trashed by the press or media, if anything she will be treated like a Goddess and Mr Brady will be getting the abuse.

Does anyone think it's odd that Gisele and Tom hooked up just weeks after he broke it off with Bridget???? I wonder if he was seeing Gisele on the side while he was with Bridget. If I was Gisele I wouldn't think of getting pregnet anytime soon, he might get bored and move on if he's not already seeing someone else on the side. After all isn't Gisele still waiting for that engament ring since Feb???? Oh, honey it isn't going to happend, listen to Bridget before you end up like her.

Still milking that Brady kid for all the publicity she can get out of him I see. I love the drip drip drip method of airing her dirty laundry to the press. She's a 'traditional girl who believe in marriage'. Really? Why not wait for the ring before you get knocked up then? Bridget was the one who announced to the world via her publicist that she and Brady broke up. You know like she's Julia Roberts and the entertaiment world would not survive if they didn't know she broke up with Brady. So I find it interesting when she announced her pregnancy that was perfectly 'timed' with Brady on vacation with his new girlfriend, the spin was 'Brady dumped her for the evil supermodel.' and of course Gisele and Tom are the devil incarnate. It's all vicious tabloid games for publicity and revenge. It's a never ending popularity contest and unfortunately we fall for it. That's how sad we are.

Everyone is well aware no one waits 'till marriage for 'intimacy' as one poster so cleverly put it, but you don't HAVE to be stupid and get pregnant!! Some women still think that's the way to trap a man - another stupid act.

I was 33 and had an unplanned pg with my bf of 5 years (yes, I was on the pill) and have been a totally single mom of my beautiful, happy, loving, exceptional 6 year old son for 4 years. While I'm not disputing the merits of marriage and traditional families, I have absolutely no regrets of having my son at all and am thankful fate knew better than I did. He's the best thing that ever happened to me. His father is still very involved and I'm told almost daily what a happy, well behaved child I have. Situations that do not begin 'ideally' are not always a predictor for disaster, with the 50% divorce rate, very few get to experience the 'ideal' for long term. It's what you do with the situation that counts and I say kudos to Bridget!

I think that until you have been in this situation yourself keep the mean and awful comments to yourself. Lots of people have babies before they get married it's called an accident.What did you want her to do get an abortion. Close minded people who open their mouths about things they do not know about is tge reasons wht the abortion rate is so high in this country.Oh and he is 9 months old and this is the first time she has spoke about him since he was born that hardley qualifies as milky the situation. Why should she be attacked becouse Tom Brady is a jerk and for something celebrties do all the time have babies out of wedlock. So lay off Bridgett she's just trying to raise her some on her own a task that is not easy in any form.

This is to Jena..I read your comment about getting married before you get pregnant and I just wanted to say this..what if she DID marry him..would that mean they would be together forever?! I understand your point on getting married before having children. That is the IDEAL way right? I'm Catholic, I was taught about pro-creation and the ideal family. BUT what if you are an older adult, close to menopause and you've never been married, (whether that was by choice OR because you never found 'The One') but decided you wanted a child? Even if you adopted, would you still want to critisize that person for not being married? OR what about divorced parents? Is it time to give away the children because they aren't married anymore? What if you took all the preventative measures and STILL got pregnant? Would you abort that child just becasue you weren't married? It's too bad that people used abortion as a method of birth control these days!
What I'm trying to say here is that things HAPPEN that aren't always PLANNED, and I think it's VERY brave of single parent's to take the high road and change their lives for thier children! If the father/mother wants to be involved, all the better..if not..his/her loss! I am a single mother to two beautiful boys and I have never been married. They both have the same father, who infact decided he didn't want to be involved in their lives after he realized it interupted his bachelor lifestyle. I took all the precautions, but still got pregnant. Therefore I play both roles in my family and I couldn't ask for anything more! Some of us don't need men to keep going in life, and some of us would rather not have a man in their life at all, and some have been 'slapped in the face' when the man or woman walked out of thier lives to be with another. SO.. before you start judging honey, step inside the shoes of one of us..Then Talk The Talk!!

'Jena' --- Um, exactly which method of birth control is 100% effective??? Only one I know of is abstinence, and Bridget was still WITH Tom when she got pregnant. DUH is right .... to you.
