Reese Witherspoon has become a chauffeur.

The Oscar-winning actress - who has an eight-year-old daughter, Ava, and a four-year-old son, Deacon, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe - admits she spends nearly all of her time driving her kids around.

Talking about motherhood, she said: "I think probably that no one warns you that you don't sleep the first year - that's one of them.

"And you basically become a limo driver by the time they're nine. I'm a professional driver now."

However, Reese - who is now dating Hollywood heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal - refuses to let Ava and Deacon dictate what they listen to in the car.

She added to momlogic.com: "I force my children to listen to my radio stations and they listen to a lot of country music. Very unhappily!"

Reese recently revealed she wanted her children to be bullied at school because the experience will be character building.

She said: "I wouldn't want my children to miss out on any of that teasing and bullying - don't you think it kind of makes you who you are?

"I distinctly recall the two weeks of crying because I didn't make the softball team. It made me interesting. Hopefully, it helps kids understand who they are."
