Jessica Simpson talks about Pete Wentz and Vegas, baby

Jessica Simpson has opened up a bit about brother-in-Law Pete Wentz, her new Vegas party pad and her upcoming Country album to Extra.

Auntie-to-be Jessica Simpson was at the star studded opening of George Maloof’s Palms Place in Las Vegas. Also on red carpet and playing DJ at the opening was Simpson’s brother-in-law, Pete Wentz. 

Wentz said, “The best part of being married is I get to hang out with this girl [Ashlee] everyday.”

Simpson had faith in Wentz’s skills saying, “DJ P did a good job at the wedding. He picked the play list so I trust him tonight.”

As for Simpson’s new country album, she declared, “I am so nervous. I know this is a part of me that people are going to see that they’ve been waiting to see and I’ve been waiting to let out so it’s very exciting.”

Thrilled about her new purchase in Las Vegas, her "home away from home", Simpson commented, “I honestly feel like it was a great place to put my money.”

Speaking of money, Simpson revealed that she once won $7,000 playing black jack. “I was handing out hundreds, left and right,” she exclaimed.
