leave women aloneJun 2nd, 2008 - 19:26:26

I wish our country would just leave women alone. It's always about what they look like, how fat their ankles are, which skinny model has cellulite, etc etc etc. No wonder so many women are overweight and unhealthy, I'd overeat too if I were constantly bombarded with such shallow hatred and sneers. Enough already! Healthy is what matters, not dress size or the dimples on some women's legs.

If these people want to be obese, leave them alone alright - just don't want to hear them all whine and blame everyone and everything on their wide-open mouths and no will power and just plain laziness for most of them. How do they think slimmer people do it - not by eating everything in sight, even if you wanted to - will power and the desire to be healthy goes a long way!

Jenny Craig should get down on their hands and knees and thank her for making them the most money the every made in the history of the company what a scam, they know the diet does not work. The so call consultants that work for them are all over 350 pounds.

I totally agree I went to the program and my weight at the time was 167.lbs and my consultant/ was 350 pounds, I tried my best not to let that get in my way, but it was a joke week after week watching her waddle down the hallway huffing and puffing to the scale. I would loose a pound and she would say good!!! but you should be loosing 2 pounds per week, meanwhile she is gaining 3 to 5 pound a week. This by the way is a very expensive program $120-$130 per week.

Everyone knows the only way to lose weight is eat healthy, non-fattening food and get off your butt. Too many people just don't want to do that.

Sure, the only way to lose weight if you have a weight problem, is to change your lifestyle. Some people are overweight because of genetics, just like there are short people, tall people, dark or light skinned people. I know some people that can't gain weight no matter what they eat, and others can't lose it unless they starve themselves. Sure, a diet can help a person lose weight, but after that, it must be followed forever! Otherwise, it comes right back.
