Lindsay Lohan's father freak out

Lindsay Lohan was left "freaked out" after her father tried to make contact with her.

The 'Mean Girls' actress - who is rumoured to be dating DJ Samantha Ronson - was furious after learning dad Michael had turned up at a New York hotel on Wednesday night (28.05.08) where Samantha was working.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Michael found out where Lindsay was going to be and went to find her. She was really freaked out by it because she has no interest in seeing him.

"Michael was staking out the lobby and waiting for Lindsay to make an appearance. It was freaky. He was sitting on the steps and texting like mad, and looking very upset that she hadn't arrived."

Michael recently said it's obvious to anyone with "half a brain" his daughter is in a lesbian relationship with Samantha.

The 21-year-old star has been repeatedly seen canoodling with the DJ - the sister of music producer Mark Ronson - and Michael is convinced they are an item.

He was quoted as saying: "The romance is evident to anyone with half a brain."

However, Michael - who is divorced from Lindsay's mother Dina - denied making the claims, and said he hadn't even seen the pictures of his daughter and Samantha.
