That stupid bitch should note that if anything with Karma was real, then the United States should have disapeared decades ago. No country has killed more civilians from other nations, after the WWII, than the US regime.

The Chinese death, injury, & homeless toll is far worse than anything our country has ever experienced. Should our children die in school collapses as a result of U.S. government 'bad karma?' I refuse to ever watch another Sharon Stone film, & have marked all of her films on Netflix as 'Not interested.' These ludicrous actors who freely cause verbal pain & injury as a result of their overblown & overpaid status should feel our disgust. The best way I know is to boycott their work.

As a pagan, I'm highly offended by her ignorant comments about China, and karma. If there's going to be any karmic paybacks on China, it's going to be against individual leaders, not little children who have died in their schools. Thinking that a whole nation, innocent people and all, should be punished for their government's bad behavior is sick and immature. (that goes to the above poster and their comments about america as well) Karma attacks individuals who do wrong, not masses who are innocently going about their lives.

Why does anyone care what any actress thinks about world events, especially one whose biggest claim to fame is uncrossing her legs?

But honestly, is her comment any stupider than calling it an 'act of God'?

It is first and foremost an act of nature - nothing more, nothing less. It's not from God, from evil spirits, from hexes, bad Karma, voodoo, hatred, etc., etc., etc.

That was exactly I thought of China's recent earthquake it was something to do with treatment to Tibetans. Tibet is never a part of China before 1950 until China occupied and killed more than hundred thousand people.People who only read chinese history at chinese school will obviously think that Tibet is part of China for century .If you look from outside you will find the fact.

First, as a Chinese, I want to thank all of you who show your support and sympathy for the people who are affected by the earthquake.
Sharon, You are an IDIOT cuz you don't know the people who died are innocent, you don't know the people who lost their children have nothing to do with how to treat Dalai lama and you don't know how sad it is when lots of chidren were buried while they were studying in the classroom.
I don't like Chinese government either. But this time, they did a right thing to try to save every life as quickly as they can.
I cry everytime hen I watch all the news about how many people died and how they died. Then I heard what you said....speechless!

a karma? for who?May 29th, 2008 - 01:35:14

Sharon Stone seems to care about Tibetan people, but if she really does, she should know that the epicenter is actually located at Ngawa (Aba) Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Szechuan Province, China. In that region, 53.72% are Tibetans, 18.28% are Qiang minority, and 24.69% are Han Chinese ...

If she really believes in Karma, then the real question is 'a karma for who?' for Tibetans or for Chinese?

Obviously she has no humanity. One thing about she disagreed with Chinese government policies, it’s absolutely heartless to make that kind of comment when ten of thousands of innocent people got killed, especially the CHILDREN. She’s nothing but piece of trash. Naturally disaster is affecting the whole world. If she believes in what goes around and comes around, she better be careful that those innocent died in the earthquake people will find her.

Sharon Stone's Karma opinion has been often seen among comments responding the quake disaster in China by those so-called 'Free-Tibet' activists. It's not a coincidence. From all of their comments full of hatred you can see their real faces. No wonder one of their comments even said they would rather donate one dollar to Myanmar but not a penny to China. They even believe those innocent children and their parents deserve to die. It shows how twisted their minds are. After read all of their comments, should I believe they are willing to offer any help to those quake victims? I would not.

a very stupid comment by stone. sometimes its better to be silent and people would think your intelligent. but you had to open your mouth and show the world that your stupid.
There has been a lot of pain, loss of lives,destruction..just pray for those going through this.

i saw a report in the news that the schools that were destroyed were built using very poor quality iron, that could be easy bent using the hand. there was a government building that stood firm without a scratch very close to one of the schools that had collapsed completely..this is very serious crime against the citizens.. the government should find those accountable and take severe action. ultimately the government is responsible for negligence or corruption.

I pray and hope the people who are going through this grief will find strength to accept what has happened and start to move on.. easier said than done.

I feel that whatever sharon stone speak up is her rights and her views. As she belongs to world of freedom and she had full of freedom, speech, expression and rights. What is wrong with that..........there is nothing to surprise what she called bad 'Karma'. As there is saying if you owes bad to others it will transform to you.

If the chinese government and people really think that they have killed lots of Tibetan innocent people during peaceful protest in Tibet. They have show the mercy for those victims of innocent? Still they blame for His Holiness the Dalai Lama or CTA Government. Who is not really behind this roits.

Besides, they are accusing His Holiness the Dalai lama and saying that His Holiness is seeking indenpendence as he is saying all the time that he is just seeking autonomy within chinese constitution framework. Is they heard of that or just pretend to not heard of ?

Ng See-Yuen, founder of the UME Cineplex chain and the chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers, called Stone's comments 'inappropriate'.

According to a story in trade magazine Hollywood Reporter, he vowed not to show Stone's films in his theatres.

UME has branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Hangzhou and Guangzhou, China's biggest urban movie markets

I think that Ng See- Yuen said that stone's comments is inappropriate and he is going to boycott Stone films to his run theatres. What a silly and stupid it is. It doesn't make any sense to her......... World is crazy about her films and let see who is going to stop to the world market..

I really appreciate her comment.........many more comment welcome...

I totally agreed with Peter said: WE ARE NOW IN A FREE WORLD, WHERE FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS WELCOMED
However, if the 'Old Stone' head, think the natural disaster earthquake was a karma.
Than she must mean 911 issue was officially karma to US as well!
In addition, I wonder there were so many natural disaster from previous years in USA reported by Federal Emergency Management Agency. Does it mean USA have been 'not nice' to other countries to deserved karma all these years?

Regarding to 'free Tibet', I guess the news never report there are so much funds from China were send to Tibet each year to keep them alive! China was very smart for not to fall for USA political games! If you think Tibet should be free, than why USA should not 'Free' New York, California, Washington......etc!

In addition, back in thousand years of history, China and Tibet were count as Chinese! Come on, wake up people, reading the brief news does not mean you know the whole story of which government is playing political games behind the scene!
