Reese Witherspoon refuses to move in with Jake Gyllenhaal until they get married.
The Oscar-winning actress and the 'Brokeback Mountain' star recently splashed out on a $7 million Californian mansion together but Reese wants them to tie the knot before they live together.
A source close to the actress - who has two children, Ava, eight, and four-year-old Deacon, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe - said: "Reese doesn't want to live with Jake until they're married. She has very traditional values.
"The thing that's convinced her that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Jake is how well he has fitted into family life. He is a good influence on her children and they have just a very strong relationship. Expect an engagement announcement any day now."
Friends say Reese and Jake - who have been dating for over a year - knew straight away they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
One friend told Britain's Now magazine: "Things did get serious quite quickly for Reese and Jake. It was unexpected after all the heartbreak she had with Ryan, but we couldn't be happier for her. She needs someone who'll be involved with the children as much as with her. "Jake's a really nice guy - he is so mature for his age, great with kids and not into partying like so many young Hollywood actors. They make the perfect couple."

You should always find out if you're truly compatible before getting married. Living under the same roof, even if it's only part time, is the best way to find out.
