Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have gone public with their romance.

The 'Fools Gold' actress was caught washing the cyclist's shirt in the sink at a Dolce and Gabbana party in Cannes, France on Friday (23.05.08).

A source revealed to America's OK! magazine that she saw Kate scrubbing a man's shirt in the sink in the bathroom at the Baoli club, where the party was being held. The source said: "I asked her what she was doing.

"Kate blushed and laughed - and then Lance walked out of a stall topless!"

The pair made no attempts to hide their romance, the partygoer added: "Rather than draw attention to themselves by demanding a table, they jostled for space on the dance floor. They swayed with each other and kissed and laughed and held hands."

Another source said: "They were just really into each other.

They would look at each other in the eyes and then kiss on the lips."

"While they were chatting, I'd notice that Lance would have his hand on the small of Kate's back, or his hand on top of hers."

The pair were first seen together in Austin, Texas earlier this month, enjoying dinner together with Lance's three children.

A source close to the couple said: "Kate and Lance have been dating for a couple of weeks. She and Lance are both physical, passionate people - she's never been happier."

Kate first got to know Lance through ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson, who is close friends with the sportsman.

Lance split from fiancee Sheryl Crow in 2007 after a three-year relationship and has most recently been liked with Ashley Olsen.

Kate has a four-year-old son Ryder with her ex-husband Chris Robinson.
