PETA must be watching this one closely. Lindsay Lohan is now being sued by the college coed who claimed the red-headed rehab regular nicked her mink from a New York eatery/club.
The Columbia University student wants Lohan to pay for her "unauthorized use of her fur."
Lohan was busted by the paparazzi and snapped wearing the coat after the item was reported missing. Both women were at the same establishment at the same time.
ABC reports that Maria "Masha" Markova filed a civil lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday asking for "punitive and exemplary damages" with an unknown amount.
"Let it be up to a jury to decide," Markova's attorney, Merrill Cohen, told ABC, "if it goes that far."
"If we filed suit, we would seek punitive damages in the six-figure range. It has to be something that's going to be substantial, that makes her accountable for what she did."
Lohan's publicist is back in action denying the fur theft. "Lindsay did not steal a coat," Leslie Sloane Zelnick told ABC.

If Lindsey didn't wear one in that was just like the one she wore out, that's stealing. Maybe she was too drunk to know what she was doing, but that's no excuse.
