Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are too cheap to honeymoon.

Pete, 27, said the pair would rather hang out in their Los Angeles basement, with inflatable palm trees, than spend money on an exotic holiday to celebrate their marriage - which took place last Saturday (17.05.08) .

He said: "We're going to save that $30,000 you know. We've got some blow-up palm trees, a little fake-n-bake tanning booth. We're eating DiGiorno's pizza, getting in that tanning oven every once in a while, it's great. It is sunny and 65 degrees in my head."

Pete admitted the couple have a pre-nuptial agreement, but refused to confirm that Ashlee is pregnant - despite reports she confirmed the happy news to wedding guests.

The Fall Out Boy rocker also refused to comment on rumoured problems between his new wife's sister Jessica and her American football player boyfriend Tony Romo.

He told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show: "It seemed like they were dancing. It seemed like it was a good time."

Pete and Ashlee, 23, married in a non-denominational ceremony at her parents' home in Encino, California. The nuptials were followed by an 'Alice in Wonderland' themed reception complete with a cake decorated with a top hat, stop watch, tea pot and a pot of flowers. Ashlee's dog served as their ring bearer.
