Will Smith saved a drowning puppy.
The 'I Am Legend' actor was out jogging in California when he saw three distressed young boys screaming for help.
When the boys explained their cocker spaniel was trapped in a clump of weeds after jumping in the water to fetch a stick, Will took action.
He waded into the canal, pulled the canine from the weeds and took him back to shore.
The grateful trio started hugging the Hollywood star and thanking him as he warned them: "Next time you play fetch, play it on the grass."
Will is not the first Hollywood star to come to the rescue.
Last year, Catherine Zeta-Jones saved husband Michael Douglas from a deadly rattle snake.
The couple were enjoying a round of golf at California's Palos Verdes course when the 'Chicago' beauty spotted the serpent and whacked it with her golf club.
A source said: "Michael was in mid-swing when he heard Catherine scream 'Don't move!'.
"He did as he was told and stayed rooted to the spot. Catherine swung at a three-foot rattle snake coiled up by Michael's feet and sent it flying through the air."
