Trump had words for Star Jones and Barbara, and declares, “It’s very interesting to be honest with you – it’s really very interesting.”
As for Jones branding Walters an “adulterer,” Trump admits, “I’m surprised that Star took such a tough shot at Barbara…but she felt slighted in the book, so I guess she figured she was hitting back. But, I think that it was unfortunate that Star took such a tough stand.”
As for his relationship with Walters, Trump reveals, “Barbara wrote me a beautiful letter and the letter said that she really missed me in her life and I thought that was very nice.”
Commenting about Alec Baldwin’s public nod to a future in politics, Trump says, “Nobody could be worse than our current president and I’d love to see Alec Baldwin in politics. He’d be terrific. He’d do a very good job. He’d work hard and he’s smart!”
Trump also clears up a recent Celebrity Apprentice rumor. As for whether he pitched OJ Simpson as a possible contestant, Trump comments, “Let’s say that NBC, when I mentioned OJ Simpson, had a heart attack. They weren’t thrilled. I’m not saying I would have done it either, but it was certainly somebody that would be interesting.”
Thank you NBC!
