Sarah Jessica Parker wants to star in a play in London's West End.

The 43-year-old actress - who has a five-year-old son James Wilkie with husband Matthew Broderick - would love to showcase her acting talent on stage.

Speaking at the world premiere of 'Sex and the City: The Movie' in London's Leicester Square last night (12.05.08), Parker told BANG Showbiz: "I would be honoured to star in a play. It just hasn't worked out scheduling wise, but I would love to. It's sort of a destination point for an actor, isn't it?"

Parker - who became world famous as a style icon thanks to her role as fashion-conscious sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the show - also shared her tips for dressing stylishly.

Wearing a stunning green Alexander McQueen dress accessorised with a horticultural Philip Treacy hat, she said: "I would say the best accessory is a belt, definitely. A belt dresses up any outfit."

Parker's co-stars Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis were all present on the red carpet. Other celebrities in attendance included, Nelly, Kelly Rowland, Kris Marshall, Mackenzie Crook, Louise Redknapp, Davina McCall and fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.
