Paris Hilton thinks she will be a good mother because she has so many pets.
The hotel heiress, who is currently dating Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, is desperate to have children and believes caring for her large collection of animals has prepared her for motherhood.
She said: "I have a lot of beautiful animals that I look after and I feel I would have a lot to give my children."
The 27-year-old star - who was recently investigated by Los Angeles authorities after revealing she had 17 dogs, 14 more than city bylaws allow - once claimed to have 600 pets in her various homes including Chihuahuas, a Rottweiler dog, a bobcat, a ferret, a kinkajou and a Lhasa Aspo dog.
Last year, Paris revealed she was preparing her body so it was in prime condition to conceive.
She said: "I want kids next year, so I've got to get my body ready."

stupid stupid stupid. Does she really think having a bunch of pets is going to teach her how to be a mother?? Seriously?? Sure having pets teaches responsibilites, but reality is kids talk back, kids has attiude. It not like Hilton can just shove a kid in her latest fashionably purse or throw a biscuit to it whenever she feel like it. She needs to do research...another thing. I'm getting this whole, 'if nichole richie has a kid i need/want one to'
