Gretchen Wilson gets her GED

Country music singer Gretchen Wilson has many awards in her Tennessse home, and says wanted "to be an example for her 7-year-old daughter."
Her hit song "Redneck Woman," earned her a 2005 Grammy. Her debut album sold 4.5 million copies.
Now, the 34-year-old can proudly say she finally got her GED, she was previously the one out of five people in the state of Tennessee that did not have that piece of paper.
Wilson dropped out in ninth grade.
CNN reports that since she has her GED General Educational Development exam behind her, she will participate during a May 15 graduation ceremony.
Wilson told The Tennessean newspaper: "I certainly don't want her (daughter) to think you can be this successful without an education."
