Miley Cyrus lays low for awhile

Miley Cyrus skipped her scheduled Disney red carpet event.
The AP reports that Cyrus made an appearance at Disney World, but left before the press line was established for the event.
Cyrus will not be attending Friday's red carpet event at the resort as planned, Walt Disney World spokesman Gary Buchanan said to the AP on Thursday.
This is the first public appearance since the Annie Leibovitz photo shoot for Vanity Fair that sparked outrage from many fans.
Cyrus was scheduled to appear at the media party to promote the charity.
The "Hannah Montana" star reportedly did sign autographs for children and taking photos with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, according to the Associated Press.
Leibovitz and Vanity Fair defended their photo shoot; the parents of Cyrus say the girl was manipulated during the event.
Cyrus said she was "embarrassed" by the pictures and apologized.
