Recently appearing on "Real Time with Bill Maher," and speaking to several news outlets regarding his latest effort, "War, Inc." actor and writer John Cusack is using his gift of satire to deliver his message of anger at the unchecked corporate avarice that is benefitting from the unpopular Iraq war.
Cusack has tapped into the American public's outrage over the war.

Cusack spoke of a "stench of lies" that people cannot tolerate anymore to Movieweb reporters in an interview regarding the soon to be released fiolm, "War, Inc."
"The soldiers have been asked to do something, and they've done it incredibly well, but the ideology behind this and this administration is completely corrupt. You can't say, 'We're not patriotic,' you can't say that the censors are not patriotic and they don't support the troops. That's not going to work anymore. The gig is up and you're being exposed for what you are, which are basically war profiteers and Meseonic idealogues," an impassioned Cusack makes his case.
"War, Inc." is an audaciously funny and surprisingly poignant film in the vein of Cusack's hit noir comedy, “Grosse Point Blank.”
Co-written by Mark Leyner, Jeremy Pikser and producer/star John Cusack, the film also stars Hilary Duff, Marisa Tomei, Joan Cusack, Sir Ben Kingsley and Dan Aykroyd.
"War, Inc." is a political satire set in Turaqistan, a country occupied by an American private corporation run by a former US Vice-President (Dan Aykroyd). In an effort to monopolize the opportunities the war-torn nation offers, the corporation's CEO hires a troubled hit man, played by John Cusack, to kill a Middle East oil minister.
Now, struggling with his own growing demons, the assassin must pose as the corporation's Trade Show Producer in order to pull off this latest hit, while maintaining his cover by organizing the high-profile wedding of Yonica Babyyeah (Hilary Duff) an outrageous Middle Eastern pop star, and keeping a sexy left wing reporter (Marisa Tomei) in check.
The release date is May 23 in Los Angeles and New York.
