Miley Cyrus has signed a seven-figure deal with the Disney Book Group to write her memoir, it was announced yesterday (22.04.08).
The 15-year-old actress - who shot to fame as the star of hit US TV show 'Hannah Montana' - will write about her childhood, growing up in Tennessee, and how her family helps keep her grounded.
She said: "I am so excited to let fans in on how important my relationship with my family is to me. I hope to motivate mothers and daughters to build lifetimes of memories together, and inspire kids around the world to live their dreams."
The book - which is scheduled for publication in spring 2009 - will feature stories about the Cyrus family, including Miley's father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, exclusive never-before-seen photos and details of Miley's closest friends.
The tome will be released to coincide with the premiere of the first 'Hannah Montana' movie.
Miley burst onto US TV screens as Miley Stewart, whose alter-ego is singing sensation Hannah Montana, in the Disney show in 2006.
The success of the show was followed up with the release of a 'Hannah Montana' soundtrack, which featured Miley singing eight songs.
Last December, she was ranked number 17 in the list of Forbes Top 20 earners under 25, with an annual earning of $3.5 million.
